Chapter 1

"No Nick!" Alexis screamed as he threw her in his family pool. "Ugh, you dumb ass" she exclaimed climbing out and running in his house.

"Hey!"Jane Carter yelled as she ran by, "You're getting my house wet Lex"

"Sorry mom" she said coming over. Jane was like a second mother to Alexis so she just called her mom. "But, Nicky threw me in the pool"

"Well, put this around you" Jane said handing her a towel.

"It's ok, I'm just gonna go home then come back"

"Nick! go next door with Lex, and bring back some flour"

Nick and Lex walked next door to Lex's house.

"Sorry for throwing you in the pool."Nick said as they walked in.

"It's cool" she said, "So did you get enrolled at Orlando High?" she asked

"Yea" he said quietly, "but I'm not going there"

"What!" she screech, "Nick, you know that we HAVE to go to high school together. How am I supposed to survive freshman year without you?"

"I'm sorry"

"where are you going?" she asked as they walked up to her room and closed the door

"Well, you know how I've been singing with those guys?"

"yea" she said getting out some clothes

"well we got a record deal and we're going to Germany in two weeks"

"For how long?" she asked as tears came to her eyes

"I dunno, six months"

"Get out Nick! I never wanna see you again!"she cried

"wha--"

"I said get out!" she screamed at him.

Nick looked at her before slowly walking out.

~*~A week and a half later~*~

"Honny" Alexis's mom, Mary, called as she walked up to her room, "you gonna come to the airport with us?"

"No!" she exclaimed

"Yes you are so get your stuff and let's go"

"Mom, you can't make me go see him. I hate him ok?"

"yes I can, you know you don't hate Nick"

She groaned while getting up. "I'm not talking to him"

They walked next door to the Carter house

"Ok we're here Jane" Mary called walking in.

Lexie glared at Nick as he sat on the couch next to his bag. They all got in Jane's Van. Alexis sat in the back with Aaron and BJ.

"Lexie, are you sad that Nick's leaving?" Leslie asked from her seat with Nick

"No, I don't care that he's leaving cause he's not my best friend anymore." she said laying her head back. They got to the airport and met up with the other guys. Alexis sat by herself until someone walked up to her.

"Hi, I'm Brian"He said

"I'm Lexie" she smiled

"you're Lexie? so you're Nick's best friend. He talks about you all the time."

"No, I was his best friend until he decided to leave me"

"oh" Brian nodded, "well why don't you come over there with us and meet everybody?"

She reluctantly got up and walked over to the guys.

"Guys, this is Nick's friend Lexie, Lexie, this is Kevin, Howie and AJ"

"Hi" she smiled before walking off.

"Now boarding flight 452 to Frankfort, Germany"

The guys all stood up and hugged their mom's. Lexie sat there as she sazw her best friend walk away from her. He glanced at her before walking away and twards the terminal.

"Nick" she said standing up. she ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him, "Please don't leave me Nicky" she sobbed onto his shoulder, "Please?"

"Lexie, I have to go"

"No you don't" She said hugging him tighter, "You don't have to do anything Nicky, you should stay here with me and go to highschool"

"We have to go" a overweight man said

Nick pulled back, "I'm sorry Alexis, I call and write as much as possible"

She nodded while standing back and watching him walk on the plane.
