~*~Two years later~*~

"Oh my God, I never thought that I'd turn 16" Lexie laughed as she walked outside of her house and saw a Silver Acura Integra with a huge bow on the top.

"You like it?" her mom asked from behind her

"Oh my god mom, is it mine?" she asked as tears came to her eyes.

"OF course baby"

She ran over to it and opened the door. "it's brand new! Can I go pick up Mellisa?"

"Sure hunny, come back about 6 cause I have a surprise"

"Ok" she said climbing in. She put a Cd in the Cd played and opened the sun roof. She grinned the whole way to her friends house

"are you sure it's ok that I come over for dinner?" Mellisa asked as they walked up to her door after shopping all day.

"Of course, We're just probably gonna have a cheesy dinner and stuff. she said looking over at the Carter house and seeing BJ and Leslie. "Hey guys!" she called

"Hey Lexie," they smiled.

They walking into Lexie's house and put their bags down.

"Hey mom, I got this tight skirt from Express, it's so cute" she said walking in to the dining room. "Mom?" se called until she heard noise in the backyard.

They walked into the backyard and stopped when they saw who was back there.

"It's the backstreet boys" Mellisa whispered in shock.

"Hey"Nick said walking over.

"You didn't write, and you didn't call" she said as tears came to her eyes.

"I know, I was busy"He said looking her over.

She ran in the house and up to her room.

"Lexie!" he called rinnung up after her. He got in her room before she had a chance to close the door.

"Nick, you promised me that you would write me...you could have at least showed me that you were thinking about me. I mean what happened to all of our plans? We had plans to have birthday partys together, and get the same car and everything"

"I'm so sorry" he said giving her a hug, "I miss you so much"

"You do?" she asked wiping her tears away and laying her head on his shoulder.

"Yea, you got so pretty"

"Thanks" she smiled, "So do you have a new best friend?"

"Only you" he said

"good" she smiled grabbing her camera, "you better not leave me for that long again"

"Thats the thing. We're going on tour again, but I want you to come"

"Really?" she said geting excited

"yup"

"Ok"she said giving him a hug again, "let me put on my bathing suit. she went in her closet and took out her Orange tankini.

Nick stared at her.

"Nick , go wait outside for me"

"You always change infront of me"

"When I was 12 and didn't have anything" she laughed

Nick walked out and waited outside her door. She put on her bathing suit then walked out.

"K, let's go Nicky"

"You know," he siad looking her up and down, "you sure blossomed over the two years I've been gone"

"I Know" she smiled walking away from him and outside.

"Well she came back!" Mellisa said standing up. Lexie walked over to her and sat down.

"Happy Birthday" AJ siad coming up to her.

"Thanks" she smiled

"So you're sixteen now, you look really nice"

"Thank you" she said looking at him, "You know, you have really pretty eyes"

He smiled sitting next to her. They flirted for a long time before Mellisa had to go.

"Mom, I'm gonna take Mel home"

"Sweetie it's late, take someone with you for the ride home."

"I'll go" AJ said

"Ok" Lexie smiled grabbing her purse and keys.
