Lynn
rolled over and looked at her clock. Her eyes widdend beyond
belief when she saw what time it was.She scrambled out of bed
heading for the bathroom. She washed her face then quickly put on
her make up. SHe threw on a pair of baggy cargo pants and a tight
white spaghetti strapped t-shirt. Grabbing her large bag she ran
down the stairs looking
at her brother who was on the couch watching cartoons.
"Hey,
rise and shine sleepy head, I was just about to come get
you,"
her dad said scrapping pancakes onto a plate. "There ya go
pumpkin, one more home cooked meal before you're off on your
own," hesmiled taunting her with excitment.
"Oh, my baby girl is getting so old," her mother chimed
in over the running water.
Lynn rolled her eyes and ate a couple pancakes, "Thanks for
the breakfast dad," she said walking over to him with her
bag on her shoulder.
"I'm going to miss you," he said.
"I'll miss you too," she said walking to her mom and
giving her a hug. "Don't cry mom."
"I won't sweety," her mom said in a shaky voice as
tears came to her eyes.
Her little brother ran up to her, "good luck sis," he
said giving her a high-five.
"Thanks. Alright I'll see you guys!" she said smiling
and waving stepping out of the house and closing the door. Her
parents watched her from the window. She turned her head away
from them and rolled her eyes mumbling to herself, "now
that, that's over."
She
hopped in the car and arrived at the dance studio once again. The
parking lot was lonley and the inside was full of people.
AJ
walked up to her casually, "Hey glad you could make it. I
was
getting kind of worried,"he said putting his arm lightly
around her. "I want you to dance with me. When I saw you out
there on that floor you looked amazing, and not just you face,
but the way you move is similar to my style. We'll hit it off, I
know we will! We'll be slammin' on stage!" he added at the
end smiling at her. Lynn
nodded trying to to make eye contact. "What's wrong?"
Aj asked in a simple tone.
"Nothing, I'm just so excited, and I'm really tired. "She answered
Aj
nodded and held open the door, "Well I'll help you find your
bus and
your bunk and stuff. Just follow me to get the paper." Lynn
followed and Aj swiftly browsed througha folder, "Ah hear
you are," he said pulling out a peice of paper. "HEY
YOUR ON MY BUS!" he exclaimed smiling.
"Is that good?" Lynn asked surprised.
"YEAH
THAT'S AWESOME!" he said,
"They put one of the best dancers on each bus with us,"
he said trying not to move his lips. Lynn smiled and
slid her bag more onto her shoulder.
"Oh
dear, where are my manners? Let me get that for you," Aj
said slipping her bag off, and onto his shoulder.
They
walked outside towards his bus. There were BIG letter painted on
the outside saying "BACKSTREET BOYS" and
Lynn smiled at the thought of spending so much time with Aj. They
stepped onto the bus an Aj led her to her bunk.
He swung her bag onto the bottom bunk. "Mines right across from yours," he said smiling.
"Hey Aj,"Sally said sliding open the curtain to her bunk and putting her book down. "I was just thinking aboutyou!" she said obviously letting him know of her attraction to him.
"Were
you?" he asked smiling while looking at her up and down. He
smiled and gave her a kiss on each cheek. "What are you
doing in
here? I thought you were on Nick's bus" Aj was interupted by
the bus driver,
"You guys ready to go?" he said touching the small of
Aj's back and smiling at the two pretty ladies.
"Uh..." Aj stuttered, "Yeah we're cool."
The bus
driver made his way back to the front of the bus,
