“Where is she?” AJ asked himself out loud as he paced the room. It had been three days since he had heard from Cindy and she said she would call him everyday. When he called her house he got a eerie feeling that something wasn’t right. He tried to call he cell phone but she shut it off for some reason. ‘Is she avoiding me?’ AJ asked himself again. ‘Where can she be?’ AJ asked himself for the thousandth time.
“RING, RING, RING”
“Please be her, please be her” AJ pleaded.
“Hello, Cindy. I’ve missed you so much, I love you…” AJ said not letting anyone answer.
“Age, it’s Howie…”
“Oh hi Howie..” AJ suddenly went to being happy to where he just was moments ago.
“Nice to hear from you too AJ, how are you doing?” Howie asked.
“Miserable, where is she Howie?”
“I don’t know man…”
“Howie, she hasn’t called me in three days man, she said she would call everyday.” AJ cried.
“Have you called her cell phone?”
“Ya, ten million times. She turned it off, do you think she is avoiding me?”
“No AJ, she is just really busy…”
“I don’t believe you How.”
“AJ, I don’t know, I haven’t talked to her since a saw her a week ago. But if I hear from her I’ll be the first to call you.”
“Thanks bud, I gotta go. See ya.”
“Bye.”
AJ hung up the phone and looked at it. ‘Man, I can’t take this any more!’ AJ wanted to scream.
