"So I'll see you later then?" I asked.
"Yeah, at the central park," answered the sound of a raspy, yet sweet voice on the other side of the phone.
"Okay buh-bye," I said hanging up.
I was just talking to AJ on the phone, just a daily thing, (normal routine call) and he actually wants to see his "little sister!" I couldn't believe it. It had already been 11 months (almost a year) since I have met and last seen AJ McLean or any of the Backstreet Boys, well, in person. But since then AJ and I have gotten a lot closer, he was like a real, big brother to me. In the year apart, about 2 and a half months ago I moved from my wonder California house { I miss it so much , to Florida. I've adjusted quite well here and learned to like it, but I also changed a lot. I'm 5'6, my hair is about mid-back, and I look about 16 or 17 even though I'm only 14 now. Oh and of course I couldn't leave the house without any make-up. Nothing to drastic, clear lip-gloss, mascara, powder. Natural stuff. To some people that doesn't sound like a total 360, but to me it was pretty big. This week was all planned out. Sunday I was going to visit my sister, who had recently moved out. Then, on Wednesday, we'd go the West Palm Beach Central Park, where we'd meet AJ and from there, he'd take me with him to meet the other guys and there girlfriends and I'd spend my time there until Friday night, and he'd take me back home to my sister's house. Yup. And today is Saturday, which means. OH MY GOSH I HAVE TO PACK! I ran, upstairs, to my room and threw open my closet door. What to wear? What to wear? That was the question. After I finished packing for my sister's house. Ilooked for stuff to wear to see the Backstreet Boys. I haven't really spoken to them a lot, but they're all really nice to me, and respected me as a person, not just a fan. Plus, that Nick Carter sure was getting fine. Ha! I laughed at myself. If Maria, my new best friend, ever heard me say that, I'd be dead. She liked him for a while, but it faded when she found out he had a girlfriend. I, on the other hand, don't care, I'm entitled to my own opinion; it might sound shady, which I'm not. I'm not gonna go up to him and seduce him or anything, but it wouldn't hurt to dress extra special, right? I asked myself. I pulled out a sky blue sundress that went knee high. To match, I had, light blue, platform sandals." I'll bring that just in case anything exciting happens." I said out loud, putting it into my mini suitcase. Just then, the phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Veronica, it's Sonia."
"Hey Sonia! Man, I miss you so much, you don't even understand!" I exclaimed.
Sonia was my best friend back I California, but Maria's my best friend in Florida - don't be confused.
"Yeah, I miss you too, guess what though."
"What?"
"Well, in California, it's going around that, Michael told Chucky that
Heather told Jennifer that Drew told Jessica that he wanted to go out with you."
"WHAT?"
"Yep." Sonia sighed.
"Wait, Drew as in the fine ass Drew?" I asked, this can't happen, I've liked him since like 2nd grade.
"I don't know about fine, but the Drew that we know," she laughed.
"Doesn't he know I moved?"
"Apparently not."
"I'm gonna call him."
"Cool, tell me what happens when your done."
"Okay, I'll talk to you later."
"Bye"
I hung up the phone. I couldn't believe it, I've like this guy, for like - ever. And right when I move, he wants to hook up with me. I mean, what kind of mess is that? Oh well, me calling him would have to wait. I still had to figure out the rest of the things I had to wear. Ugh, this was gonna be a LONG night.
