Chapter 39

"What are you doing today?" Justin asked as I walked downstairs.

"He doesn't love me anymore" I cried sitting next to him.

"Yes he does" Justin said wrapping his arms around me.

"Then why hasn't he called me in month? I mean he's supposed to be my boyfriend and he can't even call to let me know he's ok. They only way I know he's still living is from the TV"

"He's ok sweetie."

"Can we go to lunch?"

"Sure"

"Let's just go to La Bou"

"K" he said standing up and grabbing his keys. We drove to La Bou and sat down. We talked as we ate.

"Hey Justin" a sweet southern voice said

We both looked up and saw Britney.

"Hey Brit" he smiled, "What's up?"

"Nothing, I just saw you two and wanted to say hi"

I stood up and gave her a hug, "How've you been?"

"good, just working on my music"

I nodded.

"Do you wanna go somewhere and talk?" She asked Justin

"Sure" he said getting up, "here" he said handing me the keys

"I'll meet you at the house" i said getting up. I began driving home when my cell phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Hi" AJ said

"Why haven't you called me for a month?"

"I'm sorry"

"Why haven't you?"

"I've been thinking"

"Well I hope you had plenty of time to think about us"

"I did. Are you going home?"

"Yes, I'm almost there"

"Oh, I'm waiting for you"

"You're at my house?"

"Yea"

I hung up and quickly pulled up to the gate next to Aj's truck. I opened the gate and allowed us both to drive in.

I got out and just looked at Aj.

"I'm so sorry" he said walking over to me, "I love you so much"

"I thought you didn't love me anymore" I cried after he pulled me into a hug

"I'll never stop loving you" he said pulling back and kissing me

"Let's go inside"

We walked in and Star came running for the door.

"Hey baby" I said picking her up, "Look what I found outside"

AJ took the dog from me. We sat on the couch and talked for a while before AJ's cell rang.

"Answer it and say their name outloud"

"Hello?" I asked

"Hey, can I speak to Aj?"

"Who's this?"

"Becky, who's this?"

"Well Becky, he's not here"

"Isn't this his cell phone?"

"Yea," I said looking at AJ who was just looking at me, "Do you want me to leave a message?"

"Yea, tell him I had a great time while he was here nad I can't wait to see him again"

"k, bye" I said hanging up, "Who the hell is Becky?"

"No one baby" he said trying to kiss me

"Don't try to change the subject, who is she?"

"Just one of my friends"

I rolled my eyes as I got up and went to my room.

"Shit" AJ groaned rubbing his hand over his face. He got up a little later and walked into my room, "She's just a friend baby"

"For real?"

"Yea" he said taking off his shirt, leaving him in a wife beater and jeans, "Can we just take a nap together? I miss sleeping next to you"

"Yea" I said taking off my clothes. AJ did the same and we laid next to each other.

Aj let his hands trail over over arms and waistline, "You're so perfect"

I turned and rolled over so I faced him, "So what have you been up to?"

"Nothin much, missing you"

"Oh, well-" I said getting cut off by his cell phone again. He looked at the caller ID then put it back down.

"Who is it?"

"Nobody"

"Well it's somebody"

"I don't feel like talking to them"

"Hello?" I asked after I took the phone.

"Hey, who's this?"

"Erin, who's this?"

"Kristin"

"Hey, Kris, what's up?"

"Nothing, so you and J are back together?"

"We never broke up"

"Oh...well is he around?"

"Yea" I handed him the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey" Kristin said

"What's up"

"I thought you weren't going back to her"

Aj looked at me, "Hey, I gotta go, I'll call you later"

"Why don't you tell her we fucked everyday while she was gone!" Kristin yelled loud enough for me to hear.

"Fuck Kristin!" Aj yelled hanging up

"Ugh, get out of my bed"

"She's lying"

"I don't know who to trust, you or her"

"I'm your boyfriend"

I turned back away from him and closed my eyes, "I swear Aj, If I find out that you were cheating on me, I'll never go back to you"

AJ just wrapped his arms around me, "I love you"

"Yea right" I mummbled

He took his arms away and fell asleep. I got up and walked downstairs.

"Aj's here?" Justin asked

"Shit, you scared me" I said, "Yea, he's here"

"so you guys are ok?"

I shrugged

"No fuck and make up?"

"No" I laughed, "We didn't have sex"

"Where is he?"

"Sleeping"

"Oh"

"Let me tell you" I said sitting next to him, "You remember the back-up dancer Kristin?"

"Mmhmm" he said taking a bite of ice cream

"Well she calls and I answered his phone and she's all like "Oh you guys got back together" and I was like 'we never broke up' and then like she was talking to J and she was all like 'why don't you tell her we fucked everyday while she was gone' and he hung up on her and shit and tried to tell me it was nothing"

"Do you think he did?"

"I dunno, It's hella weird that he didn't call me for a whole month. Maybe he was feeling guilty. And plus some chick Becky called too"

"Go talk to him"

I stood up and walked back to my room.

"Hey" AJ said stretching, "Come here"

I sat down next to him.

"Are you mad?"

"No"

"I promise you, I didn't cheat on you"

"Ok" I nodded wrapping my arms around his neck, "I love you"
