Chapter 1

"Mom please! Where not lost!" AJ yelled frustrated as he led his 3 day old Tahoe down the dirty road.

"AJ honey please calm down!" she exclaimed to her 23 year old son. She watched quietly as the grassy fields passed by and the dirt rose up into the air as the tan truck drove on. All she could hear was her son's frustration and breathing, and the pebbles underneath the tires. AJ noticed up ahead a sign and wandered his eyes over it. 'Dead End' It read.

"MAN!" AJ said frustrated slamming his fist onto the wheel and left out a huge sigh of frustration glaring ahead of him.

"AJ calm down for goodness sakes!" Denise yelled.

"Mom please! I don't need this pressure right now!" AJ yelled nearly in tears. All AJ wanted was to take his mother out for a few weeks for just the two of them. He had been gone 3 long, stressful tour months and hadn't spent any time with her. Sure he loved his fans, but they didn't birth him,¦they didn't spend his whole life time by his side,they weren't by his side when his alcohol depression struck, only by support. He loved his mother and he had planned everything out nicely for her but being lost wasn't helping him any. AJ stopped the car and looked around him. It was nightfall probably around 11 o'clock, and they were lost. He grabbed the map from the glove box and opened it up examining it. He looked sorta puzzled at the map; he hadn't been able to do this since he was in school in social studies. Sure he was on the road all his life but he wasn't the one driving, plus not having his license didn't help either.  Suddenly a scream pierced the quiet night.

"What was that?" AJ said bolting up. He could feel the hair standing up on his arms and the back of his neck. He began to quiver.

"I dunno honey." His mom stuttered out." You probably was just hearing things babe. She said hoping her words were true. Her eyes searched the grassy dark fields that surrounded them. She also began to shiver in terror as a breeze blew ruffling the grass oneway and then the other. AJ then opened the driver's side door hopping out.

"Alex NO!" his mother shouted reaching across the seat grabbing the tail end of his wife beater trying to pull him back in.

"Mom I have to help them!" AJ yelled turning around ripping the tail out of her hand roughly as he slammed the door closed and took off.

"Alex please don't do this!" Denise screamed out in terror. But he paid no mind. He was running down the dirt road towards the scream. The scream pierced the night again. Denise shut the jeep doors and locked them rolling the windows up terrified. She sat staring and crying as she watched her son no where near the vehicle.

"God please protect my baby." She cried as she closed her eyes and silently prayed as the fresh tears rolled down her cheeks.

AJ ran towards the scream. He noticed he was getting closer and closer each minute. AJ quickened up his pace and suddenly tripped over something hard as he turned towards were the scream was coming from. "Ouch!" he yelled as he fell into something soft and over something hard leaving his sunglasses to knock off his face as he went down. He looked down noticing he was lying on sand that covered the front of him like a blanket. He held onto his knee for a moment and looked down seeing a red stain on his Tommy Hilfigure jeans.

"Aww hell." He said getting up.Suddenly the scream filled his ears again. AJ's eyes shot up and looked around. His mouth nearly fell to the sand when his eyes caught what he was seeing. He watched as a hunched over creature in a dark cloak drag a women across the sand by her arms. She wore torn flared jeans that were cut up the side the whole way to her mid thigh. It looked like it was cut with scissors or a knife. She also had a tank top that was white and it also looked like it was taken and cut a little then ripped the rest of the way. As he drug her she fought at his grasp leaving the tank top to fall away off her chest more and more. AJ could tell that the creature was a guy by his cackling laughter. The guy's laughter sent shivers up his spine and an eerie feeling in his stomach.AJ then gasped falling back into the sand as a gust of wind started to blow knocking him off his feet. His eyes grew terrified watching what the creature was doing ignoring the fact of the pebbles and grains of sand stuck inside his hand leaving a salty stinging touch. The girl screamed out as the creature rose his hands in the air lifting her up without any support. AJ looked and saw she was crying as her blonde shoulder length hair whipped about her face in the wind. AJ then heard words mumbling from the creature. Lighting then casted over the sea joining the thunder afterwards.

"LET ME GO!" she screamed outtrying to grasp herself away from the thing that was holding her up. Suddenly her head was thrown back and she reached her hands up to her neck as if someone where choking her.

"Silence you fool!" the creature yelled to her harshly.

"STOP! LET HER GO!" AJ yelled running towards the creature.

"What?" the guy looked over and suddenly clasped to the ground with AJ on top of him. The girl fell from his grasp and harshly her limp body fell to the sand. She began to cough abruptly.AJ began throwing his fists at the creature's face till suddenly something pierced his chest fiercfully.  AJ fell back with a gasp and pain running all threw his body. The creature left out alow laugh and stood up. The creature grabbed AJ by the collar of his shirt and raised him to his 7'5 figure. He stared him directly in the eye as AJ went in and out of consciousness and as his head wobbled forward and backwards.

"Don't you know better then to mess with people who are greater then you?" the creature asked harshly with asmirk across his face. AJ looked up at him lazily grunting. The creature began cackling dropping his lifeless body to the sand. AJ's eyes wandered watching as the creature faded and suddenly they rolled into the back of his head.

"You I will deal with later!" he said pointing a bony finger at the female. He left with another cackle and then lighting and wind and thunder all went away. AJ began struggling to breathe.  He felt arms wrap around his head supporting him. He then heard a sound. She reached over breaking a shell.She picked up the sharpest piece and began to make a slit in her wrist. The blood began to pour from the wound. AJ watched as his vision left him. He knew he was slipping away slowly. He felt the girl pull him closer to her almost bare body feeling the warm against her flat stomach.

"Drink, I know it sounds nasty but drink." She said lying her wrist near his mouth. A drop of the red wine blood dripped onto his lip. He licked it off with his tongue tasting the bitter taste in his mouth.

"It will keep you alive I swear now please drink!" she pleaded to him. AJ knew it was a risk to take if it kept him alive. He suddenly pulled her wrist to his lips and began sucking at the torn wound. The more of the sweet red substance he drank the more the taste became fine to his mouth. AJ began to feel strength and him becoming a whole new person. His strength grew back but 10 times more, and his craving for blood became intense.

"Stop, stop that's enough." The girl cried as tears ran down her cheeks. AJ sucked hard one last time and finally left go as his head fell back into the sand. The wound of the girl's wrist healed up quicker then the lick of an eye. AJ eyes fluttered shut.

"Sleep well my dear, I'll be back for you in a couple days." She said. And with that AJ fell straight to sleep.

"ALEX OMG!" a woman screamed as she ran out into the sand. The girl looked up and faded suddenly so she wouldn't be caught
